KSL Calgary — a new standard for amateur football

Coming to Calgary

KSL is coming
to Calgary

A new standard for amateur football.

After years spent developing and running football leagues across Europe, we're taking the next step and bringing the KSL experience to Canada.

But our goal isn't just to launch another 7-a-side league. We want to offer a genuinely different approach to amateur football in Calgary — one where a player doesn't just show up for another match, but feels part of a real championship.

All of it, in one league. That's the philosophy KSL is built on.

More than just 50 minutes of football

To us, a league shouldn't just begin with the referee's whistle and end with the final one.

Every match should have its own story.

Every team should be seen.

Every player should be able to rewatch their game, see their stats, share their best moments, and feel part of something bigger than just another Sunday match.

That's the experience we want to bring to Calgary.

Every match, on video

We don't want teams wondering whether their match will be filmed this week. Games are recorded with AI-powered 4K cameras, and the best goals, saves, and moments become part of KSL's content. A match doesn't disappear after the final whistle — you can rewatch it, break it down, and share it with friends.

Next-generation football analytics

Possession, shots, passes, interceptions, tackles, saves, shot maps, heat maps. Personal analytics cover distance covered, sprints, speed, high-intensity actions, and minutes played. Your Sunday match turns into data you can use to track your progress over the season.

A modern football pitch

The quality of a league starts with where the matches are played. We're investing in infrastructure where the pitch, the organization, and the whole matchday match the standard we want to build — so a player arrives at the venue and immediately knows: today is matchday.

Refereeing that matters

Clear rules. Discipline. Consistent decisions. Respect for both teams. A referee isn't just someone who blows the opening and final whistle — they're a key part of the league's overall quality.

The whole league, in your phone

Schedule, results, standings, player stats, and match content — all in one ecosystem. Football doesn't end after an hour on Sunday: your team stays part of the league all week long.

Media that puts players in the spotlight

Matchday content, photos, video, highlights, individual achievements, and team stories gradually become part of KSL Calgary. Because real people stand behind every team, and every match has a story worth telling.

Competition comes first

Technology and media matter. But football stays at the core of everything. Our goal is a competitive 7-a-side league where teams play for real stakes: points, standings, and the title.

We want teams to look forward to Sunday.

For matches to actually matter.

For real rivalries to emerge.

And for winning KSL Calgary to genuinely mean something.

Built on experience.

 Now, in Calgary.

We're a new league, but the concept is backed by years of running football competitions across Europe. Along the way we tested ideas, adapted, brought in new technology, grew our media, and kept improving what teams get out of playing in the league. Now we're bringing all of that experience to Calgary — while building a product made specifically for the local football community. We're not out to copy other leagues. We want to set our own standard.

Europe years running leagues
Hundreds of teams
Thousands of players

A league for every

 team

It doesn't matter if your team has played together for years or you're just starting to put a squad together. It doesn't matter if you're seasoned footballers or just a group of friends who want to play and compete.

Our job is to build the fairest possible competition and find the right level for every team, so matches stay competitive, engaging, and genuinely fun.

You don't need to be a professional footballer to be part of KSL. You need a team and the will to play. We'll take care of the rest.
