About KSL
ABOUT KSL A GROWING FOOTBALL COMMUNITY
Who we are

Built by players, for players

KSL started as a simple idea: give everyday footballers a place to play that felt as serious as the game deserves. No shortcuts, no thrown-together fields, no matches that don't count for anything.

That idea grew into something bigger than any one city. Today KSL runs as an international network of amateur football competitions, built and refined season after season by the people who actually play in it — not designed once and left alone, but rebuilt a little better every year based on what teams actually asked for.

That growth has now reached North America. New KSL leagues are opening across the continent, each one built on the same foundation as every market before it: the same officiating standards, the same platform, the same attention to detail that made KSL worth showing up for in the first place. Nothing about the experience gets diluted just because it's new to the region — it's the same league, just closer to home.

What sets KSL apart

The same standard, everywhere KSL plays

01

Real venues, real conditions

Matches are played on quality, well-maintained turf — not a leftover lot with uneven grass and no lines. Fields are chosen and inspected before a season is ever scheduled on them, and maintained the same way through every round.

02

Footage of every match

Games are filmed and made available afterward, so no highlight — or no argument — is ever just hearsay. Whether you want to relive a goal or settle a debate about a call, the footage is there.

03

Stats that follow the player

Every goal, assist, and appearance is logged to a real player profile, not lost after the final whistle. Your history builds season after season, so your record actually means something over time.

04

Independent officiating

Referees are trained and held to one shared standard, so a call means the same thing in every match. The same rules apply whether it's week one or the final — no home-field bias, no inconsistency.

05

Captains have a say

Team captains aren't just entrants — they help shape how each league runs, season over season. Scheduling decisions, format tweaks, and league rules all get shaped with their direct input, not decided in isolation.

06

Content worth sharing

Photography, recap clips, and active social channels turn a Sunday match into something worth remembering. Teams get material they can actually post, not just a final score buried in a spreadsheet.

07

A dedicated platform

Fixtures, tables, and player pages live in one place — no group chats trying to reconstruct a schedule. Everything updates in near real time, from anywhere, on any device.

08

A track record, not a trial run

Every new KSL market inherits seasons of lessons already learned — you're not the test case. That includes its newest chapters across North America, which launched with the same playbook proven everywhere else.

What we stand for

Our values

Open to every level. Whether it's your first season or your fifteenth, there's a place to compete — no tryout, no minimum skill level to clear first.

Genuinely inclusive. Age, background, and gender aren't barriers to lacing up and playing — the pitch is open to whoever wants to be on it.

Always improving. Technology, officiating, and organization get better every season, not just at launch — standing still isn't part of the plan.

Held to a pro standard. We borrow what works from the professional game — officiating, broadcast-style footage, real stats — and apply it to amateur football.

Community first. Even as KSL grows into new countries and cities, each individual league stays small enough to still feel like your league.

Players have a voice. The people playing the games help decide how the league is run, not just told when to show up.

Growth without dilution. Every new region — North America included — gets the full standard from day one, not a scaled-down starter version.

Where we play

Now on the ground in North America

5+ COUNTRIES · NOW IN NORTH AMERICA

Every new city KSL reaches runs on the same playbook — the same quality of officiating, the same platform, the same standard of competition. What began across other parts of the world has now crossed into North America, bringing the exact same league experience with it.

This isn't a spin-off or a lighter version built for a new market to test the waters. It's the same KSL, with the same expectations for how a match should be run, how a season should be organized, and how a team should be treated — just newly available closer to home.

Come play your part in it

KSL is still writing its next chapter — every new team that joins becomes part of how the league grows from here. North America is one of the newest pages in that story, and it's still being written by the teams who show up for it.
